Greetings once again to all our subscribers and RC enthusiasts.

GP Off-Road

Our next Off-Road event isscheduled for the 4th March.
Just to let everyone know that the track has undergone its first upgrade for the year and we will continue with the maintenance in the following weeks to come.
Hope to see more entries soon as there are a few keen drivers wishing to run their Monster Trucks.
Please come along as you are most welcome.
We notice a lot of the guys are at the track during weekends but come race day, – only a few pitch.
Do come and participate in these race meetings - THIS IS WHERE YOU PICK UP EXPERIENCE.

The SARDA final national event takes place this month at CERC (Cape Town) on the 3 & 4th March.
Rodney and Jacques are representing TRAP - Good luck guys!

They will be introducing a new brand - namely the GP Sworkz and the EP Cage Buggy

GP On-Road

Next club meetings will be the 3rd and 31st March were the club motor class is really getting popular as more and more drivers find it most competitive and affordable.
This is the way to go as drivers will improve their driving skills and set ups.

Congratulations to Jacques Liebenberg for bring the TQ and 1st place trophy home to TRAP after the first nationals of 2012.
Well done Jacques!!

EP Off-Road

The first SARDA National has now being completed and the championship details are on the SARDA web site shortly.

There are still many people enjoying this class and just recently SABC TV 2 recorded a short program with us.
More details on this as well as when it will be flighted.

EP On-Road

The first SARDA National is to be held this month the 10th and 11th March at K90.
We wish them well and there seems to be over a 100 entry’s for this event.
Hold thumbs for all.

JANUARY 2012

We would like to wish all the members participate of this new letter a very Prosperous New Year.
There are many interesting things going to happen at TRAP this year.

Please note that this is a new mail service via our new web page.
It was not possible to transfer all the “opt-out” mail addresses ~ so if you don’t wish to receive this newsletter anymore you are required to cancel it via the web.

please join so as we can let you have info quicker. This is not a substitute for the web page just an assistant

GP Off-Road

Our next Off-Road event is scheduled the 29 January 2012.
During the course of the year we will make changes to the track to include a large full speed “Berm”
Racing starts at 9 am so please don’t be late ~ entries from 8h30 on the day.

GP On-Road

Club race again on the 21stJanuary 2012~ this is a Saturday event and there are a few new drivers to be expected.
once again come along and enjoy.

EP-Off Road

Lots of practicing took place over the holiday period so I hope we can get this discipline going at TRAP during 2012 as a regular club event.

Also here I noticed a fear amount of new facing during the holidays for this discipline and in turn hope to include it as a regular event.

Greetings once again for the month of November.

GP Off Road
Our next Off Road event is that of the 30nd October 2011.
As usual there is a lot of support from the various drivers and a large group from Rustenburg make the journey across
THIS IS A RE-RUN DUE TO THE RAIN OF LAST EVENT DUE TO THE RAIN BEING WASKED OUT.

SARDA final national event takes place @ AVION on the 5 and 6 November.

GP On Road
Final Club race again this time on the 29th October 2011 from 9am
Also the last for the year! This is a Saturday event one of its kind we have not had in a long time
(all On Road discipline shall be run with the understanding that there are at least 3 car per race class)

So come along and once again enjoy. there will be a bring and braai at the end of the day.

A special 3 hour Enduro event has been arranged by AMR and will be hosted at
TRAP on the 13th November.
3 driver 3 cars (1 x 1/8th and 2 x 200mm) in a team.

No club membership required. -Just pure fun.

Just last month there was a FUN DAY of which 22 cars had a most enjoyable day “ The Older Generation” showing the youngsters up
Please join us for this last club event for the year. Racing starts at 9 am so please don’t be late ~ entries from 8h30 on the day

The SARDA national takes place the weekend of the 22^nd & 23^rd October at the Bushveld track…this is their final for the year. I believe there are some points still to be clinched the 2011 championship.
